The woman herself admitted that she did not pay attention to the date on her hot water bottle, and now she has to live with scars on her stomach and thighs for the rest of her life. This is why Katie Piper is spreading the word and urging everyone to check the dates on their hot water bottles.
How to Check the Date
To check the date of manufacture, simply look for the flower symbol on your hot water bottle. This symbol provides valuable information about when it was made:
- The number in the middle represents the year of production.
- The petals of the flower indicate the months.
- The dots inside the flower represent the weeks.
Regularly Check and Replace
