At the recent FUBAR launch of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new Netflix series, the Terminator star was surrounded by his children. The 75-year-old actor happily posed for pictures alongside his daughter Katherine and her husband Chris Pratt, as well as his other two children Christina and Shivers.
Despite attending the premiere alone, Schwarzenegger’s son Mildred Baena, whom he fathered with his former housekeeper, was also present. The relationship between Schwarzenegger and his son is reportedly very close, according to a family insider. However, Shriver and her kids are still hesitant to interact with Baena.
“To be honest, the other kids don’t love Joe,” said a source close to the family. It’s unfortunate considering Arnold has always treated him just like his other children. Joe is actually a pretty decent kid, but for some reason, the other kids blame him for the affair.
In a social media post, Baena expressed his pride in his father while posing for a selfie at the premiere. He sported a stylish outfit with a gold chain necklace, black jacket, black jeans, and a white button-up shirt. Baena also gave his unbiased opinion on his father’s newest movie, “I give FUBAR a 2 thumbs up!!!”
He continued, “Had an amazing time last night at the FUBAR premiere! In my opinion, FUBAR is a hilarious and action-packed show that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!”
Baena’s Instagram followers expressed their disappointment at how he is treated by his own blood. One person commented, “It’s disgusting how you are treated, man, by your own blood. Completely ignored due to something out of your control. Is it racial hostility? Who knows. At the end of the day, use this bulls*** to fuel you.”
Another supporter wrote, “That’s a shame. Arnie seems to love them equally, though Joe a little more because he’s walking in his footsteps.”
The conflict between Schwarzenegger’s children came to light during the FUBAR premiere. Witnesses at the event mentioned that while the actor’s other children went home, Baena stayed back for the after-party. Schwarzenegger himself is reportedly close to his son, having brought him along to several events.
“It’s not fair, but I guess it’s understandable – he’s the product of something that should not have occurred,” said the source. “The Schwarzenegger kids have consistently handled the situation with respect and grace. Arnold loves all of his children and has a great relationship with each one of them.”
